Jimmy Kaishian (120 pounds), Joe Mastro (145), Steven Sabella (170) and Thomas Murray (182) all won their respective weight classes for the Sailors.

Weltman confident
Lakeland boys basketball coach Henry Weltman knows his team has quite a challenge in the last week of the regular season at it travels to Kennedy Catholic today for a 6 p.m. tip-off before looking to avenge its 68-58 in the when it hosts Walter Panas at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.
Weltman is confident though that his squad will be ready for the challenges that he feels will better prepare his team for the upcoming Section 1 Class A tournament.
"Our last five games have been like all playoff games," Weltman said. "We beat a very good Beacon team, Monday (Jan. 30), won by two. We had a sweet revenge game against Yorktown, they beat us the first time, then we had Panas at the Giglio Games then Kennedy and Panas again, this time at our place. They are all in a playoff atmosphere which is great to get us ready for the sectionals."
Horgan leads Huskers
Taryn Horgan registered a team-high six points for the Yorktown girls basketball squad in its 45-15 loss at Kennedy Catholic Feb. 3.
