Yonkers Federation of Teachers Endorse Raniolo

Yorktown, NY – Representing the largest educators’ organization in Westchester County with over 2200 members, the Yonkers Federation of Teachers has endorsed Yorktown Town Justice Gary J. Raniolo for re-election on November 3rd. In a letter to membership, Federation President Pat Puleo, wrote:

“I am asking you to support the union’s position and vote for pro education, pro labor candidates. After extensive consideration, the Yonkers Federation of Teachers believes that the candidates listed…..have the strongest records on issues important to educators, school related personnel and healthcare professionals.”

Yorktown Town Justice Gary Raniolo was one of only two local court judges endorsed by the Federation across the entire county. He said, “To be endorsed by the Yorktown Congress of Teachers and now by the Yonkers Federation of Teachers speaks volumes about my support of education and our need to focus on our youth, which has been a central theme not only my campaign, but in my daily conduct as Yorktown Town Justice.” “I thank the Yonkers Federation of Teachers for their endorsement and their support. It is much appreciated.”

A practicing attorney, with 32 years experience, Judge Gary J. Raniolo is a current Yorktown Town Justice and former Assistant District Attorney in Westchester County.

Gary and his wife Georgeann are 23 year residents of Yorktown. They have three children, Gary, Ashley and Heather, all of whom have graduated from Yorktown public schools.
