Yorktown Bail-Jumper Out on Bail Again

He was found and arrested at the Bronx Criminal Court and a family member posted bail, Yorktown police said.

Yorktown police have charged a Bronx man with bail-jumping who had failed to appear in Yorktown town court twice to answer an unlicensed driving charge.

Joshua E. Colon, 23, was arrested at March 1 at Bronx Criminal Court, where he was being held on unrelated charges, police said.

When he was arraigned in Yorktown, bail was set at $1,000. A family member posted it, police said.

He's due back in Yorktown court March 8.

Colon had failed to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Oct. 27 and Nov. 17 to answer a charge of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.
