Lakeland defenseman Chris Monteferante, who will be playing lacrosse next year at and Yorktown forward Zef Saljanin, both were named second team all-stars by LoHud's Boys Soccer Blog.
They join as award winners Lakeland goalie Steven Reiche, who was already announced as player of the year and Hornets coach Tim Hourahan, who was named coach of the year.

Yorktown ice-squad is getting noticed
Yorktown's varsity ice-hockey team has gotten off to a 4-1 start and its play on the ice at the Brewster Ice Arena is getting people's attention.
Noticing the Huskers hot start is MSG Varsity, which has Yorktown as its No. 10 team in the Westchester/Hudson Valley area.
Boys youth hoops
The Yorktown Huskers are 4-0 and in first place in the boys fourth grade B division of the Super League at the Brewster Sports Center.
