The Pioneer School Sports League, a Special Olympics team here in Westchester, now includes a Yorktown High School team for the first time in a long while. Tomorrow (Feb. 15), and for several Wednesdays in March, the students will compete in a floor hockey game versus Bronxville.

The game will start at about 4:00 p.m. in the YHS gym. Our coaches are Dennis Daria and Kari Purdy from the Mildred E. Strang Middle School.
Boys basketball
The Section 1 Class A tournament is to begin with out-bracket games today, which includes Lakeland. Schedule is below.

Girls basketball
