field hockey's dynamic duo made it official Feb. 1 as All-Americans Emma Bozek and Shannon Scavelli, who have each won three consecutive state championships, signed National Letters of Intent to play the sport in college
Bozek signed with North Carolina and Scavelli with Michigan.

Langdon signs too
Lakeland has another star athlete playing a sport in college and that is Cady Langdon. Langdon, who is a soccer standout, signed her LOI to play at Lynn University (Fla.).

Hornets win thriller
Lakeland's Dan Eremita made two fout shots with 1.1 seconds in the game to give the Hornets a thrilling 56-54 triumph against visiting Beacon Jan. 30 in boys basketball.
Eremita and senior Alex Perlman paced the Hornets with 21 and 20 points, respectively.
