For the second time this month, the girls basketball squad defeated its rival Yorktown, this time 47-33 at Lakeland Jan. 12.
Emily Alicea led the Hornets with 11 points, followed by Kate Weldon who registered 10.

Taryn Horgan registered seven points for the Huskers.

Husker boys hoops
Yorktown's boys basketball squad hosted one of the better teams in Class AA Jan. 14, White Plains, and fell to the Tigers 67-31.
Leading the way for Yorktown was Stephen DiMaria with eight points.

Yorktown ice-hockey
Yorktown's ice-hockey squad has enjoyed an oustanding winter but Mahopac got the best of it at the Brewster Ice Arena Jan. 13 in a 6-3 Mahopac victory.
Alex Campbell, Neil Jacobson and Tyler Proscia scored for the Huskers.
