Today is a big day for every spring sports squad in Section 1, including Lakeland and Yorktown, because it’s the day that all varsity and junior varsity teams start practice.

Ranagan Scores Twice

Junior midfielder John Ranagan (Yorktown '09) scored twice in Johns Hopkins' 12-5 men's lacrosse triumph against UMBC Saturday at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore in the third game of the 2012 Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic.

The win improved the Blue Jays record to 6-0.

Another local product, sophomore attackman Kevin Interlicchio (Yorktown '10), also plays for Hopkins.

YAC Registration

Regisration for the baseball and girls pee wee lacrosse programs are still on going in the Yorktown Athletic Club.
