The Shrub Oak Knicks, sponsored by Journeys Travel and coached by Alex Cohen and Matthew de Marte, won the Shrub Oak Athletic Club's freshman (fifth and sixth grade division) title as the sixth seed.

Husker Award-Winners
Yorktown's ice-hockey squad had plenty of players who earned well-deserved postseason honors.
They were goalie Randy Ashe (all-section), defenseman Adam Greene (all-league), forwards Gunnar Boeschl (all-league), Neil Jacobsen (all-league), Tyler Proscia (all-league), Alex Campbell (all-league honorable mention), Jake Proscia (all-league honorable mention) and defenseman Adam Rothman (all-league honorable mention).
Rebel Honorees
Lakeland/Panas' ice-hockey squad also had well-deserving players who earned postseason honors.
They were defenseman Christian Gjelaj (all-league), forward Connor Bubolo (all-league honorable mention) and forward Patrick McKiernan (all-league honorable mention).
