Lakeland boys soccer falls in regional final
Lakeland's boys soccer squad's outstanding year, which included winning the Section 1 Class A title, came to an end in the Class A regional championship game in Oneonta Nov. 12.
That's where the Hornets lost to Maine-Endwell on penalty kicks 6-5 after a scoreless tie through regulation and two overtimes.

Casin-Silva runs at cross-country state championships
Lakeland/Panas' Carolina Casin-Silva placed in the top half of the field with a 39th-place finish in the Class A girls cross-country state championships in Verona on Nov. 12.
