Hornets go for three-peat this weekend
The Lakeland Hornets field hockey team is looking to win its third straight state championship and sixth overall in its illustrious history this weekend.

Lakeland will start its quest for history in the state Class B semifinals on Saturday Nov. 19 at 1:30 p.m. at Cicero-North Syracuse High School against Camden.

Winter teams get started this week
If you are wondering why there has been a buzz in the air this week, it's because the Lakeland and Yorktown varsity and JV winter teams all began practice (except for ice hockey, which began Nov. 7) on Nov. 14 for their upcoming winter seasons.
Yorktown youngsters to play at Brewster
Yorktown will play the East Coast Panthers at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at the Brewster Sports Center in the Boys Basketball Sixth-Grade Super A-League.
