Lakeland defeated Rye 4-0 on Nov. 6 at Arlington High School to win its third straight Section 1 Class B championship. Emma Bozek, Abby Murdock, Rebecca Bard and Gabby Celentano all scored for the Hornets.

Lakeland takes boys title on the pitch
Lakeland beat Port Chester 1-0 at SUNY Purchase Nov. 5 in the Class A boys soccer championship game. Sebastian Marquez scored the game's only goal for the Hornets.
