Three local pantries receive $2,000 each from Yorktown Lions

Yorktown Lions Support Local Food Pantries
Jim Poulin, President of the Yorktown Lions, just announced that the club’s executive board unanimously approved $2,000 each to three local food pantries.
The recipients of the $2,000 donation are the Community Food Pantry at St. Mary’s in Mohegan Lake, the Deacons Food Pantry at the First Presbyterian Church in Yorktown, and the Yorktown Community Food Pantry located within the Albert Capellini Community Cultural Center in Yorktown Heights.

According to Poulin, “The Yorktown Lions are happy to assist the local pantries, who presently need additional financial support to serve the community during these difficult times. So many families need our help, and the Yorktown Lions are more than happy to see their fund- raising efforts aiding those in need.”
