Yorktown Trying To Develop Property Into Golf Course
The property was formerly a golf course, but is now used as a park-and-ride location.

YORKTOWN, NY — Officials in the Town of Yorktown are considering putting a public golf course on Route 6 property that the town owns. Town trustees voted to extend an agreement with RC Recreation Development to develop the 12-acre property and operate a nine-hole, par 3 public golf course.
A nonprofit has begun raising funds and seeking grants for the project, the Journal News said.
The site, which was once Shallow Creek Golf Course, is now used as a park-and-ride location.
