Yorktown Volunteers Begin Work On Trail Connection
Two grants from the Hudson River Valley Greenway made the trailway possible.

YORKTOWN, NY — Volunteers have been clearing a 0.4-mile trailway that will connect more than 22 miles of trails west of Baldwin Road and 28 miles of trails east and south of the Yorktown Heights area. It’s considered the final puzzle piece in Yorktown’s trail system.
The project includes a boardwalk that will go over a wetland and three bridges over streams, tapinto.net said.
