Temperatures will be in the 90s throughout the Hudson Valley Friday, with only slightly cooler temps for Saturday and Sunday.

We’re also looking at a chance for some isolated thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon and evening. The chance for storms is low though.

In reality, there is no real significant chance of rain in the forecast through next Thursday, except for some showers and storms possible late Monday into Tuesday morning.

So here is the weekend forecast for northern Westchester and Putnam counties from the National Weather Service:

  • Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 94. Heat index values as high as 97. West wind 5 to 9 mph.
  • Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 67. Light west wind.
  • Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph in the afternoon.
  • Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.
  • Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 69.
