• K-9 sniffs out narcotics during Jackson Co. traffic stop: Deputies (wspa.com) — Deputies stopped a car in the Cashiers area Monday and, with help from K-9 Ziva, say they found significant amounts of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, Xanax, and marijuana. Two people were arrested on multiple trafficking and possession charges, highlighting an ongoing local focus on drug enforcement around Cashiers.
