• NGTC breaks ground on Irvin Agriculture Event Center (nowgeorgia.com) — North Georgia Technical College has broken ground on the new Irvin Agriculture Event Center on its Clarkesville campus, expanding space for agriscience classes, industry partnerships, and public events. Funded by a $900,000 Irvin Foundation gift, the center will also feature a museum honoring longtime Georgia agriculture commissioner Tommy Irvin and is expected to begin construction immediately.
