• Two arrested after prank call leads to shooting in Stephens County (wspa.com) — A late-night confrontation on Tower Road in Martin led to gunfire between a vehicle and a juvenile, with no reported physical injuries but several shell casings recovered. Two Martin residents were later arrested on aggravated assault and firearm charges, and the juvenile was also detained, as authorities warn that threatening “prank” calls and texts are being treated as serious crimes.
