Here are the top stories today in Durham:

  1. The man who was shot at the Streets at Southpoint Mall on Black Friday remains in critical condition following the incident. (WSOC-TV)
  2. In related news, police have still not made any arrests in the triple shooting that occurred at the mall. The police initially detained one individual but are now saying no one has been charged. (CBS17)
  3. Durham city councilmember Mark-Anthony Middleton is now calling for more urgency among city leaders to combat the violence. (CBS17)
  4. Authorites are searching for a South Florida girl who is believed to have been kidnapped and taken to North Carolina by someone she met in an online video game. Around 10:00pm on Saturday night the girl was able to contact her mother distressed, and detectives pinged her phone in North Carolina but could not determine where specifically. (TampaBay10)
