  1. The car crash on I-85 last week, has led to the death of the 9-month-old baby who was ejected from the vehicle. Officials have said that charges are pending, but did not say if the driver would be charged. (WRAL)
  2. Elaine O'Neal stated on Wednesday that crime in Durham is "a symptom of many social ills," and that Durham "must imagine public safety without law enforcement alone." O'Neal did also say she would support an increase in pay for Durham officers. (WRAL)
