  1. Although Elaine O'Neal had certain victory, it was confirmed on Tuesday night. The mayor-elect is the first Black woman to win the office of mayor in the Bull City. O'Neal spoke about the challenges she faces when she takes office, and improving partnership with the sheriff's office and the DA. (abc11)
  2. Durham police are looking for an individual who stole more than $90,000 worth of fragrances from Ulta stores in Durham and surrounding areas over the last eight months. (CBS17)
  3. A pedestrian was seriously injured early on Wednesday in a crash that occurred on Morreene Road near Tremont Dr. (WRAL)
  4. A Durham woman has been sentenced to two years in federal prison due to her role in the shooting of an off-duty deputy last year. (WRAL)
  5. The State House and Senate lawmakers voted along party lines on Tuesday to approve the new legislative and congressional district map that has been given an F grade that is predicted to give Republicans an 11-3 majority. With the approval, the Democrat minority has already expressed intent to sue. (WCNC)
