Here are the top stories in Durham today:
- A flight headed to Florida was forced to make an emergency landing at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Saturday after a "fume/odor event." One of the 102 passengers had to be taken to WakeMed following the incident. (WAVY)
- A chase that begun in Granville County ended in Durham on Saturday night. Two cars were pursued, one crashing on Interstate-85, the other wrecked on Braxston Street. Police found three individuals in the vehicle, two sustained gunshot wounds. (WBTW)
- The Durham-Chapel Hill metro has been identified as one of the safest areas to live amidst the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic. (247 Wallst)
- Evette Rawls of Durham has been teaching for the past 20 years and has a passion for guiding new teachers. Through the pandemic, she recorded interviews of other teachers.
