- Durham police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened on Sunday morning on Lednum Street. (abc11)
- On Saturday evening, several people at a soccer game were robbed at gunpoint. According to police, during the game at least one person fired a gun several times. (CBS17)
- With the increase in incidents, calls to curb the city's gun violence are growing.
- A group of neighbors known as Durham New Vision is also working to support the community and enhance existing prevention resources and programs. (abc11)
- The Religious Coalition for a Non-Violent Durham and the congregation at Duke Chapel, held a virtual retreat on Saturday to address gun violence in Durham. (CBS17)
- A Hillside High School put on "State of Urgency," a play that addressed gun violence in the area on Friday night. (abc11)
- On Saturday there was rally calling on state lawmakers to eliminate PFAS from food packaging. (CBS17)
- Health officials are warning that there is a high risk for a measles outbreak this year after 22 million American children did not get the vaccine last year. (CBS17)
