- A man who crashed into a Durham convenience store on Friday is facing one charge in connection with the incident. According to police the driver told officers that "his foot slipped and the car hit the building." The driver was charged with transporting an open container of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle. (CountOn2)
- Durham police identified the two victims in a fatal shooting on Saturday: William Damontez Green, age 27, and another victim, age 17, who police will not release the name of due to the juvenile status. It is still unknown what led up to the shooting, or if the Mustang was involved in a crash prior to the shooting, but police do not believe it was random. (CBS17)
- One man was found seriously injured in a Sunday shooting on New Hope Commons. Durham police responded to the scene at approximately 9:15 pm, and found that the shooting had occurred at a separate location. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries and officers are still investigating the shooting. (WRAL)
- In his final season, Coach Mike Krzyzewski broke a NCAA Tournament Record. Duke beat the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Elite Eight on Saturday night, making the Blue Devils the official West Region Champs, and giving Coach K a record 13 times in the Final Four.
