First, today's weather:

Here are the top stories in Durham today:
- The votes have been cast and Elaine O'Neal, former superior court judge won 69% of the total votes, and city council member Javiera Caballero won 24% of the votes to continue in the race for mayor. Although O'Neal had a commanding lead, only about 10% of Durham's registered voters cast their ballots in the election. (WRAL)
- The City of Durham is gearing up to see more leadership changes in the coming months. Not only is the Mayoral election ahead, but City Manager Wanda Page is searching for a new police chief. The Durham County Board of Commissioners is also preparing to search for a new county manager. Many residents hope that the changes will bring progress to some of the most pressing issues in the city. (WRAL)
- A large portion of Roxboro Street had to be closed due to a water main break that happened around 3:30am near Denfield Street. It took crews nearly 4 hours to shut off the water. Several businesses saw temporary closures due to the break, and medical providers had to reschedule their patients. (abc11)
- Twelve startups founded by Black entrepreneurs from across the county will be participating in a rigorous program to help elevate their companies. The sixth annual Black Founders Exchange is in collaboration with Google for Startups at the Durham hub, and workspace American Underground. The opportunity provides the chosen businesses hands-on training with mentors and a chance to pitch their business to angel investors and venture capitalists on Friday. (abc11)
- A serious crash shut down one lane of the Durham Freeway, the exit ramp from the freeway onto W. Chapel Hill Street, and sent six to the hospital on Wednesday morning. The crash happened around 7:30 am going southbound at Exit 13. Two individuals were ejected in the single-vehicle rollover crash and were taken to the hospital for treatment. (CBS17)
