- Runners hit the American Tobacco Trail this weekend for the RDC 5K and 10K on Saturday to benefit ALS research at Duke. (abc11)
- The Drink Durham festival that happened over the weekend is promoting local beer, arts, and music while giving proceeds to the CNOTE foundation to provide scholarships to students pursuing higher education at HBCU's. (Spectrum News 1)
- The multi-car crash that occurred on Friday morning, led to the death of the pedestrian that was hit during the incident. The accident was caused by a woman driving a Mazda. She is being charged with failure to stop at a red light and misdemeanor death by motor vehicle. (AP News)
- Experts with GasBuddy are predicting gas prices will stabilize soon. The prices may even see a temporary drop. However, without additional oil production the prices may be here to stay. (CBS17)
