Colonial Pipeline Announces Record-Setting United Way Campaign

Company matches raise total contributed to $356,000

Colonial Pipeline Company announced today it raised $356,000 for the United Way through a superhero-themed fundraising drive, surpassing its 2014 contributions by 11 percent. Using the tagline “heroes wanted,” the campaign resulted in nearly 350 employees committing more than $131,000, which was matched dollar-for-dollar by Colonial Pipeline.

The record-setting drive also includes $47,000 in funds raised through golf tournaments and silent auctions. Colonial Pipeline partners with United Way annually.

“Colonial is committed to strengthening the communities we serve, and this year’s record United Way fundraising effort demonstrates that vividly,” said Beth Anderson, Colonial’s United Way campaign chairman. “From Houston, Texas to Linden, New Jersey, we are partners in the success of the markets we serve – both through the energy we move and the generosity of our employees.”
