• Davie County woman accused of filing over $100,000 in false medical claims (myfox8.com) — A Jonesville resident has been charged in Davie County with multiple felony counts tied to allegedly fraudulent medical insurance claims totaling more than $123,000 over several years. State insurance investigators say the woman submitted forged receipts for doctor visits that never occurred, and she recently turned herself in to the sheriff’s office before being released on bond.
