Activate Brings Interactive Gaming Experience to Raleigh with Grand Opening Event
New Six Forks Road location offers high-tech, fast-paced games and opening day prizes for guests
RALEIGH, N.C. — March 26, 2026 — A new interactive entertainment destination is arriving in Raleigh as Activate, a rapidly expanding international live-action gaming brand, prepares to open its doors on March 28 at 601 East Six Forks Road, Suite 105.
Known for blending physical activity with immersive gaming, Activate offers a unique experience where players can move, compete, and collaborate in a high-energy environment. The Raleigh location marks the company’s first in the Research Triangle region and its second in North Carolina, adding to its growing global footprint of nearly 60 locations, including more than 40 across the United States.
To celebrate the grand opening, Activate will host a full day of activities open to the public. The first 50 guests in line between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. will receive a limited-edition Activate wristband, granting them free gameplay once a week for 30 days. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by open play from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Guests can also enjoy live music from a DJ, participate in mini competitions, and enter for a chance to win exclusive prizes throughout the day.

Activate’s gameplay centers around a series of high-tech rooms featuring more than 55 fast-paced game variations. Participants are encouraged to jump, dodge, strategize, and solve puzzles against the clock. Each room offers multiple levels of difficulty and game types, including enhanced versions of familiar activities like Hoops and Laser, as well as fan-favorite Mega Grid and puzzle-based challenges such as Hide and Press.

Designed to appeal to a wide range of ages and skill levels, Activate emphasizes teamwork, quick thinking, and physical movement, creating an experience that blends elements of fitness, gaming, and social interaction.
With its Raleigh debut, Activate continues its expansion into key U.S. markets, bringing its interactive concept to a region known for innovation and rapid growth.
