Join other knitters and crocheters at our monthly meeting.  This month we'll get a jump on making holiday gifts with SOAP SACKs, a quick item that can add grippiness to soap, with a gentle texture to help clean, and can help bars of soap last longer because they hang to dry after use.  Or stuff one with the slivers of soap when a bar is almost finished, to continue their usefulness. 

You can add other items such as facecloth or towel and headband for a spa set, or donate the soap sack to a charity that distributes them to the homeless and others in need.

Bring cotton yarn (or mostly cotton blend yarns) to make yours or share with others.  Soap sacks need little yarn so are great for using up scraps with stripes and patterns.
