Father and Son duo, Matt and Skyler O’Connor, are the proud franchise owners of BrightStar Care of Midtown Raleigh. The new agency serves families across the Raleigh/Durham area providing both medical staffing and home care services.
As a healthcare executive focused on positive change, Matt dedicated the last 17 years to improving patient outcomes by bringing world class clinical data, workflow, and patient centric solutions to providers and health systems across the United States. “I’m excited to bring that same passion and dedication to people in the Raleigh / Durham area who want to remain and thrive in the comfort of their own home,” Matt says.
After graduating summa cum laude from Campbell University, Skyler spent three years working as a Financial Wellbeing Associate for a local credit union. Skyler has always had a strong passion for helping others and an entrepreneurial spirit. By diligently following his personal financial wellbeing plan, Skyler was able to invest capital along with his father to open their own BrightStar Care agency in Raleigh / Durham. Now before the age of 30, Skyler is a proud business owner and is looking forward to serving his home community. Skyler states, “I’m thrilled to bring a higher standard of home care to the Triangle and empower people to live their best lives.”
