Quail Haven Village Senior Living Community Holds Bridgerton Tea Party

They were decked out in Regency-era perfection, with accessories to match and delectable treats to savor.

Residents at Quail Haven Village senior living community in Pinehurst, North Carolina, experienced a fine tea party with a Bridgerton (television phenomenon) theme last week. The preparation was almost as enjoyable as the event itself. Bridgerton has quickly become an unprecedented sensation that millions across the country are not only watching on TV weekly, but also aspiring to recreate. “So many of our residents are enthralled by the show and were excited to emulate it,” said Crystal Hofstetter, Executive Director of Quail Haven Village.

Leading up to the event, residents scoured area thrift stores for dresses to wear. Quail Haven offered some accessories, including hats, gloves and fans. They also provided glamorous décor.
Elegant finger foods like cucumber sandwiches, smoked salmon, fruit bowls, and cookies were served.

While the event was perhaps more of the women’s cup of tea than the men’s, everyone had a wonderful time and was in full agreement that the event should reoccur next year as well.
