Relay For Life of the Triangle Rescheduled for June 3
Save Lives, Celebrate Lives and Lead the Fight Against Cancer at Halifax Mall in Downtown Raleigh
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of the Triangle invites the community to join the movement to honor and remember loved ones and fight back for lifesaving change on June 3 at Halifax Mall in downtown Raleigh. Relay For Life is a community of survivors, caregivers, local citizens, volunteers, and participants who believe that the future can be free from cancer and own the power to make that change.
Relay For Life of the Triangle will be a fun-filled evening celebrating our cancer survivors, remembering those we’ve lost and fighting back against cancer. This family-friendly event will include moving ceremonies, lawn games, live music and great food. The event will be held in person from 5-9 p.m. It was originally scheduled for May 14 but was rescheduled because of the threat of severe weather.
The Relay For Life of the Triangle will be returning to Halifax Mall for the first time in 15 years. “We are excited to share our passion to save lives, celebrate lives and lead the fight for a world without cancer in the heart of downtown Raleigh,” said Rachel Urban, executive director for the American Cancer Society. “In 2022, almost 1.9 million new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States. Thanks to that shared passion, the lifesaving mission of the American Cancer Society can’t be stopped, ensuring we are here for everyone who needs us.”
