• Dominion Energy seeks rate hike for NC customers (outerbanksvoice.com) — Dominion Energy is asking state regulators to approve a rate increase that would raise the average residential bill by about $17 a month for customers in its territory, including Williamston. The company says the hike would fund power station upgrades, new solar projects, and transmission line rebuilds, with potential new rates starting in December 2026 if the Utilities Commission signs off.
