• Driver in critical condition after crash on Shoulders Hill Road in Suffolk (wavy.com) — Emergency crews responded early Saturday to a serious single-vehicle crash on the 5000 block of Shoulders Hill Road in Suffolk, where a driver was rescued from a burning car and taken to a trauma center in critical condition. Firefighters quickly extinguished the engine fire while other crews freed the pinned driver, and the road reopened around 3:42 a.m. as police continue investigating.
