• No funding cuts for Belmont County Board of Developmental Disabilities after public outcry (wtrf.com) — Belmont County leaders have decided not to cut funding from the Board of Developmental Disabilities, preserving about $1.3 million in levy revenue and protecting services many local families rely on. After a large, emotional demonstration at the courthouse, the Budget Commission voted to keep the long-standing levy in place through next year and scheduled its next meeting for October 6.
