• Boys and Girls Club of Dayton hosts back-to-school bash (wdtn.com) — Families in Dayton are getting free school supplies, bikes, food, and resource connections through a back-to-school bash hosted by the Boys and Girls Club of Dayton. Caregivers say the club's after-school programs, childcare support, and mental health resources help remove barriers and surround kids with positive adults all year long.
   

• WEST SIDE STORY Will Come to Dayton Opera in September (broadwayworld.com) — Dayton Opera is bringing WEST SIDE STORY to the Schuster Center downtown on September 26–27, with local opera, philharmonic, and ballet artists collaborating. Residents can buy tickets through Dayton Live, including limited $5 seats through the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance program.
   

• Miami Valley experts warn of rising healthcare cyber threats (wdtn.com) — Cybersecurity and healthcare leaders in Dayton and the wider Miami Valley are warning that hospitals are prime targets for international hackers, with potential impacts on local patient care. The Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association and GoCyber Collective are boosting training and will host a cyber resilience conference October 13 for healthcare professionals and students.
