2. Delphos Ave. welfare check shifting into community conversation (dayton247now.com) — Dayton residents are being urged to watch out for vulnerable children after police found six siblings living alone without utilities in a boarded-up Delphos Avenue house. 3. Residents express concerns about stalled Dayton public hospital project (whio.com) — Dayton residents packed a City Commission meeting to demand progress on the new public hospital they approved with a property tax levy, but a key vote was delayed because there weren't enough eligible commissioners present. City staff say they're vetting board members now, and the commission plans to take up the emergency resolution again next week, which will determine when the long-promised facility can finally move forward.

4. Cannabis dispensary planned for former Frisch's site (cincinnati.com) — A cannabis company that already runs a cultivation facility on Springfield Street in Dayton is expanding its footprint using former Frisch's Big Boy locations, including a planned dispensary in Clermont County and another future site in Dayton.
