2. Dayton officer hospitalized after cruiser struck; driver cited for OVI (dayton247now.com) — A Dayton police officer was briefly hospitalized after another driver allegedly ran a red light and struck his cruiser at South Main and East Third streets early Sunday morning. The officer and the other vehicle's occupants were treated and released, and the driver was cited for OVI, with additional weapons-related charges being reviewed by the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office.
   

3. Second Harvest receives $75k grant from FirstEnergy (wdtn.com) — A Dayton-based announcement highlighted a $75,000 FirstEnergy grant to Second Harvest Food Bank, which supports pantries across Clark, Champaign, and Logan counties.
