📰 News we're reading
1. Police complaints rise amid de-escalation concerns (wdtn.com) — Dayton residents are raising concerns as police complaints climb and the city's Use of Force Committee now meets less often, prompting calls for stronger de-escalation efforts. An independent audit shows complaints jumped from 89 to 138, while officials and citizens press for mandatory de-escalation tactics and the long-delayed 2025 Use of Force report to be released.
