• Gallia County Commission holds preconstruction meeting for paving project in Huntington Township (wvnews.com) — Gallipolis officials recently met at the county courthouse to finalize plans for resurfacing Durgan Road in nearby Huntington Township, with paving expected to begin in November and finish in about a day. Funded through a federal Community Development Block Grant and local funds, the project includes prevailing-wage requirements, subcontractor documentation, and county engineer inspections but is not expected to disrupt utilities for residents.
