  1. Parents turned out to the Marietta City School District board of education meeting in droves. There were a lot of things parents were angry about, masks or lack thereof, curriculum, possible premature renewal of the superintendent's contract. (Marietta Patch)
  2. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is investigating a lake near Marietta that's become contaminated with crude oil. It isn't known where the oil is from, but there is an abandoned well nearby, and an injection well not too far away. (Columbus Dispatch)
  3. A Marietta man is dead after a crash in Williamstown. Authorities say it was a pedestrian versus automobile accident. The victim is only being identified as a 55-year-old Marietta resident. (WTAP)
  4. Mayor Josh Schlicher talks about what's going on this week in Marietta. (Marietta Patch)
  5. A McConnelsville man is going to prison. Yesterday, 40-year-old Robert Wells was sentenced to 11-years for felony assault and breaking and entering. (Marietta Times)
