1. The Athens Police have identified a suspect after an altercation that left one dead. Zach Shrivers of WTAP reports that it happened on Sunday morning, and John Hayes of Circleville has been arrested for involuntary manslaughter and assault. (WTAP)

3. Local business owner Ari Gold wants to expand outdoor dining in a creative way. He wants to approach the city about using the parking space for seating in front of his restaurant, TLV. (Patch)

A little about me, I'm Chris Schmitt; I grew up in Marietta, went to Marietta High School, and graduated from Ohio University's Scripps School of Journalism.
