1. A Parkersburg man is fighting for his life after a crash in Washington County. Brittany Morgan and Samantha Cavalli of WTAP report that Patrick Richards crashed into a semi-truck head-on on Route 7. (WTAP)

2. The Washington County bomb threat suspect's family speaks out. They say there was a second caller. (Patch)

3. Mayor Josh Schlicher issued a couple of proclamations. Hannah Stutler reported that he recognized the public works department during National Public Works Week. He also recognized a hard-working engineering intern. (WTAP)

4. Ohio University has named a new president. John Lowe reports that the OU Board of Trustees named Dr. Hugh Sherman as their new president. He will start a two-year-term in June. (WSAZ)

5. Marietta College baseball wins NCAA Regional opener. Yesterday the Etta Express beat the University of Rochester 9-6. Marietta will return to the diamond tonight at 6 p.m. where they will face off against North Carolina Wesleyan. (Marietta College)

- WillowCreekMX Opening Day is Sunday. The club at WillowCreek will be teaching motocross at 11 am in Whipple. Details can be found here.

- The Washington County Veterans Service Commission is renaming their building on Memorial Day. On Monday the 31st at 4 p.m. there will be a renaming ceremony held in honor of Chad Wright. Details can be found here.
