• Swanton headed to state, along with Archbold's Short (bryantimes.com) — Swanton High School's boys golf team has earned its first trip to the Division II state championships since 1993, finishing runner-up at districts in Oregon, Ohio. Led by standout Dylan Smigelski and first-year coach Austin Luce, the Bulldogs surged late in the round to secure one of only two qualifying team spots for the Firestone Country Club finals in Akron.
