• Swanton man killed in Richfield Township crash on US 20 (13abc.com) — A 69-year-old Swanton man, James Kenczewicz, died Monday after another vehicle reportedly crossed the center line and hit his SUV on US 20 near Kilburn Road in Richfield Township. A passenger in his vehicle and the other driver were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and the highway was closed for about three hours while troopers investigated. 
• Swanton volleyball sweeps North Central (northwestsignal.net) — Swanton High School's volleyball team rolled past North Central in straight sets Monday, showing depth despite recent injuries and setting up today's conference trip to Patrick Henry. Strong play from junior hitter Kinley Curtis and the Bulldogs' improved blocking helped Swanton control all three sets and build momentum for the rest of their Northwest Ohio Athletic League schedule.
