1. Continental Coliseum glass panel mock up unveiled (news9.com) — In downtown Oklahoma City, officials unveiled a half-scale mock-up of the Continental Coliseum's towering glass panels, offering a first real-world look at the Thunder's future home. The display will keep evolving as crews refine glass color, frit, and lighting, with steel work expected by year's end and arena completion targeted for August 2028.
   

2. American Wagyu Association Annual Conference to Highlight Breed Improvement, Meat Science and Industry Innovation (oklahomafarmreport.com) — Oklahoma City will host the American Wagyu Association's annual conference in September, the first since the group moved its headquarters here. Producers and the public can attend sessions on breed improvement, meat science, AI in cattle production, a Wagyu product contest, and post-conference tours including the new HQ near Stockyards City.
   

3. Newest art installation in Scissortail Park brings whimsy to nature (news9.com) — Downtown Oklahoma City's Scissortail Park just unveiled "People Watching," a pair of giant scissortail flycatcher sculptures perched on lampposts in the lower park. Designed to connect visitors with nature through art, the whimsical installation joins other scissortail-themed pieces, and the park remains open daily with extended hours for walks, events, and programs.
   

4. Pilgrims turn to 'red dirt Catholic' martyr as Blessed Stanley Rother story gets wide release (detroitcatholic.com) — Pilgrims gathered in Oklahoma City at the Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine for his feast day Mass and the premiere of a new documentary on the Oklahoma-born martyr. Local Catholics and visitors shared how Rother's life, ministry in Guatemala, and perseverance through struggles inspire their own faith journeys today.
   

5. Sara Polston sues ODOC director over law that could return her to prison (okcfox.com) — An Oklahoma case based in Oklahoma City is testing whether a new law can force DUI offender Sara Polston off GPS monitoring and back into prison. Her lawsuit against the Department of Corrections director argues the statute, passed after her release, would be unconstitutional extra punishment, while the state is expected to say it's only an administrative status change.
