1. Oklahoma State Fair 2026: Tickets, parking, food, attractions (koco.com) — Oklahoma City residents can start planning their trip to the 2026 Oklahoma State Fair at the OKC Fairgrounds, running Sept. 17-27 with detailed hours, ticket prices, parking rules, and discount days. The guide also highlights new Route 66–themed attractions, Disney On Ice shows, special events, creative arts and livestock competitions, and an extensive lineup of new fair foods and drinks.
   

2. Oklahoma Firefighters Foundation to hold 15th annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb (news9.com) — This Saturday, downtown Oklahoma City will host the 15th annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Leadership Square and Oklahoma Tower, honoring fallen first responders and flight passengers. Firefighters, law enforcement, and civilians will climb the equivalent of 110 floors, with participants asked to arrive by 7 a.m. for an 8:15 ceremony and 8:46 start time.
   

3. Car and scooter collide in southwest Oklahoma City, leaving rider seriously injured (koco.com) — A scooter rider was seriously hurt Thursday night after a collision with a car near SW 69th Street and South Walker Avenue in southwest Oklahoma City. Police say the car's driver stayed at the scene, but the rider's exact injuries are still unknown as investigators work to determine what happened.
   

4. OKC Ballet dancer returns to stage after brain tumor diagnosis (news9.com) — Oklahoma City residents can see longtime Oklahoma City Ballet soloist Randy Fernandez back on stage Friday night at Scissortail Park's free Ballet Under the Stars performance. After collapsing in Bricktown and undergoing brain tumor surgery at OU Health, he's returned to dancing with renewed gratitude and a clean bill of health, with family-friendly activities starting before the show downtown.
   

5. Comets Shut Out Space Cowboys for 12th Straight Win (mlb.com) — Oklahoma City baseball fans just watched the Comets notch their 12th straight win, an 8–0 shutout of Sugar Land at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark that ties a Bricktown-era record. With strong pitching, big homers, and a growing division lead, the team returns to the ballpark Friday night, inviting locals to "Pack the Park Blue" for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
