2. 'They're out in abundance': Skunks are 'tormenting' neighbors in Sellwood area (koin.com) — Sellwood neighbors in Southeast Portland are dealing with a surge of skunks digging up lawns, spraying pets, and even denning under homes. Residents are trading DIY solutions, while a local wildlife control company working across the Portland metro area recommends humane one-way doors and professional exclusion to safely remove the animals and prevent future invasions.

Concert Review: Silvana Estrada (spectrumculture.com) — Silvana Estrada's recent Wonder Ballroom show in Portland drew a smaller-than-hoped crowd but delivered an intensely emotional, two-hour performance for devoted fans. Singing mostly in Spanish, she mixed poetic, grief-tinged songs with moments of joy and audience singalongs, offering Portland listeners a rare, intimate experience with one of Mexico's rising singer-songwriters.
